Privacy policy
Last updated: August 2026
At Cloomi we support families from pregnancy through age five, through an online store of new products selected by developmental stage and, soon, an app and community where mothers and fathers support one another. This policy explains what personal data we collect, what we use it for, and what rights you have over it, in compliance with Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013.
1. Data we collect
Depending on how you use Cloomi, we may collect:
- Identification and contact data: name, email, phone number, and shipping address.
- Order data: purchased products, purchase history, and the data needed to process cash-on-delivery payments.
- Stage data: your child's age or developmental stage (for example, pregnancy, months since birth), which lets us personalize products, guides, and content. You provide this data voluntarily, and it always reflects what you, as a mother, father, or guardian, choose to share.
- Usage data: your interactions with the platform, preferences, and, once the app and community are available, your posts and conversations within those spaces.
- Technical data: IP address, device type, and browser, used for security and to improve the service.
2. What we use your data for
- Processing and delivering your orders, including free shipping anywhere in Colombia and cash-on-delivery collection.
- Personalizing products, guides, and recommendations based on your family's developmental stage.
- Enabling the community and conversations between families in similar stages, once you activate those features.
- Communicating with you about your orders, news, and updates from Cloomi.
- Improving the security, functioning, and experience of the platform.
3. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with couriers and logistics partners needed to deliver your order, and with technology providers who help us operate the platform (for example, hosting and payment processing), who are contractually required to protect your information. Once the community is available, any content you choose to post there will be visible to other members according to that section's rules.
4. Second life (circular economy)
If you take part in the second-life space to give or receive products your baby no longer uses, we will share with the other party of the transaction only the data strictly necessary to complete it, such as name and contact or delivery details.
5. Minors
Cloomi is aimed at adult mothers, fathers, and caregivers. We do not collect personal data directly from children: information about your child's developmental stage is provided by you as the account holder.
6. Your rights
As the owner of your data, you may know, update, correct, and request the deletion of your information, as well as revoke the authorization you've given us to process it, where the law allows. To exercise these rights, write to us through our contact channels.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No system is completely infallible, so we also recommend you protect your own access credentials.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Cloomi evolves, especially as the app and community launch. We will publish any relevant changes on this same page along with the update date.
9. Contact
If you have questions about this policy or how we handle your data, write to us from our contact page.
